ASSISTANCE REQUIRED
“Walk 2 Remember”

The UFU have been asked to assist with the donation of BBQ facilities and Cooking Volunteers for the ‘Walk 2 Remember.’

The Compassionate Friends Victoria supports parents and siblings following the death of a child, at any age or cause. Their annual ‘Walk 2 Remember’ is a memorial walk which allows parents and siblings to honour their child, brother or sister.  It includes a service on Morrel Bridge and ends with a BBQ lunch for all attendees to give them time to connect and socialise with other bereaved families.

In the past the Compassionate Friends Victoria have had assistance with the cooking facilities from another organisation who unfortunately are unable to help out this year.

The UFU would like at least 15 members to volunteer a couple hours of their time on Sunday April 2nd to cook the BBQ for these families.

When :         Sunday 2nd April

Where:        Cnr Anderson & Alexandra Pde, Melbourne

Time:              11am – to facilitate the end of the Walk at 12:30.

Please contact Trudie at the UFU office on 9419 8811 or pa@ufuvic.asn.au to donate your time for this worthy cause.
