UFU MEMBERS ENCOURAGED TO ATTEND

UGL RALLY TOMORROW AT MIDDAY

As members may recall from Bulletin #147, early in 2017 200 UGL workers at Esso in Gippsland were sacked and offered their jobs back with a 30% pay cut and slashed conditions. In protest, these union members have spent the last 150 days on the picket line, without pay.

A rally for these union members will be held tomorrow in Melbourne.

UFU members who are available are strongly encouraged to attend the rally.

UFU members who attend the rally are encouraged to wear UFU apparel and to bring along UFU rally flags. Please call the UFU office on 9419 8811 tomorrow to organise pick up of these flags.

Date: Wednesday 22 November

Time: Midday

Location: Trades Hall, Melbourne

Bring: UFU apparel and UFU flags

If members would like to show support by donating to these union members and their campaign, please follow the instructions at this link.
