Today, after approximately 2 years of negotiations and ongoing industrial action by members, the Unions, before the Fair Work Commission at a special Saturday conference, reached in principle agreement on all outstanding matters for the ESTA Operational Employees Enterprise Agreement.
Further to bulletin 16, today ESTA purported to respond to the Union proposal put to ESTA at the first meeting following the no vote.

As advised this afternoon, Federal Court Justice Murphy today handed down his decision regarding the CFA staffing numbers.
We remind members that once a dispute has been lodged, the status quo applies meaning that the work practice that was in place prior to the subject matter of the dispute, continues, until the dispute is resolved.

Members are advised that the UFU has raised with CFA management that it has serious concerns regarding a review of Mildura CFA Fire Operations that CFA proposed to take place today.
Today, the UFU filed an application with the Fair Work Commission for a Protected Action Ballot Order in support of ESTA member’s campaign for a fair EBA.
