Members are advised that the UFU has scheduled a member meeting for tomorrow at 10am at the Burnley Lecture Theatre to discuss the MFB’s proposed plans regarding the closure of Eastern Hill.

Please note a correction on the start time of these meetings to maximize attendance: These meetings will take place at Victorian Trades Hall on Wednesday 20 November commencing at 09:30 and 19:30.
As members would be aware yesterday, the Unions met ESTA in the Fair Work Commission for a further bargaining conference.

Members are advised that following and in accordance with yesterdays UFU meeting, today at a meeting at the Fair Work Commission, the bargaining representatives have settled bargaining. The parties are now working through processes to proceed to the formal vote and finalisation.
