AN INVITATION TO ATTEND THE GEELONG WOMEN UNIONISTS NETWORK CONFERENCE
‘WORKING WOMEN GET ORGANISED’
SATURDAY 11 NOVEMBER 2017
The UFU is proudly supporting this important and exciting Women Unionists Network Conference, and respectfully encourages all members, particularly members in Geelong and the surrounding areas, to attend if they are able to.
The Conference has been organised by the Geelong Women Unionists Network – a group of committed women trade union members and activists who have been organising events in the Geelong community and fighting to achieve gains on the social and industrial issues that affect all women workers for many years.
The Conference features fantastic speakers, a terrific program of workshops and panel discussions, as well as an Equal Rights Rally and a Conference Dinner. For full details please see the flyer here.
The Conference is open to both women and men. The Conference costs $20 per person ($15 if you are not earning a wage at present) and includes the Conference Dinner. This cost will be met by the UFU but you must register through the UFU directly so we are aware of your attendance.
