CFA EMR IMPLEMENTATION
Members are advised that Emergency Management Commissioner has confirmed that CFA have been provided funding for EMR implementation to all integrated stations by the 2016/17 financial year.
The EMR program has been developed building upon the MFB EMR program and the CFA trial EMR program. Both have provided the underpinning foundations of the new CFA EMR program. It is planned that the program will be delivered to all CFA integrated fire stations over the next 2 years.
The CFA has been provided funding for the 2015/16 financial year which will allow for the implementation of EMR capability at 19 integrated fire stations, with the remaining integrated stations being addressed in the 2016/17 financial year.
The training will be the same training as provided to the MFB and will be delivered by Ambulance Victoria. The training will commence with South Morang and Mornington in the final quarter of 2015. The training program will then move to progressively implement EMR across all integrated fire stations.
If members have any further questions, please contact Michelle Baldini at the UFU Office.
