TO ALL UFU CFA OPERATIONAL STAFF MEMBERS
IMPLEMENTATION OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL RESPONSE IN THE CFA
Members are advised that the parties have agreed on the implementation of Emergency Medical Response in the CFA in accordance with clause 88.9 of the CFA/UFU Operational Staff Enterprise Agreement 2010.
The agreed implementation will be completed by 30 June 2019 and will be implemented as follows:
1 July 2016 – 30 June 2017
- District 13 – Boronia, Rowville and South Warrandyte
- District 8 – Rosebud, Frankston, Patterson River, Pakenham
1 July 2017 – 30 June 2018
- District 27 – Morwell and Traralgon
- District 14 – Melton, Craigieburn, Greenvale, Sunbury, Caroline Springs, Point Cook, Hoppers Crossing, Eltham
- Ballarat City
1 July 2018 – 30 June 2019
- District 7 – Geelong City, Corio, Belmont, Ocean Grove
If the opportunity arises to bring stations earlier in the implementation plan or the implementation schedule is required to change, this will be brought to the EMR Working Party and any changes communicated.
In accordance with clause 88.9, any operational staff member at the stations above who expresses in writing a willingness to undertake the EMR role and be trained will receive remuneration in accordance with Table B in clause 94.1 or Schedule 13.
Members at the above stations and OO/OMs who have the above stations in their Districts are encouraged to submit this expression of interest in writing via email to firstname.lastname@example.org and cc their OIC/line manager and OM as soon as possible as payments under Table B for the above stations will commence on 1 July 2016 for those at the above stations that have expressed interest.
