DON’T DO IT ALONE RIDE
Operations Officer, and White Ribbon Ambassador, Terry Heafield will be embarking on a 2,500 Kilometre bike ride around Victoria to Raise awareness for Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
Terry will be visiting every CFA Integrated Fire Station in Victoria during his journey which commences this Saturday the 30th of July at Wodonga and concludes on Sunday the 21st August at Melton.
Terry has experienced depression and anxiety for the last three years and during this ride he is hoping to talk with firefighters about the issues surrounding mental health in the Fire Services.
He invites anyone interested in the issue to join him as he visits the fire stations. The UFU wholeheartedly supports this great initiative and strongly urges all members to participate in supporting it also.
