Emergency Services Doorknocking Blitz for October

The election is only 60 days away and we are nearing the end of our campaign.  The UFU is calling on members who have not yet participated to get involved in this pivotal final stage of doorknocking.

Throughout October Firefighters, Paramedics, Nurses and teachers will be out in force supported by members from other Unions in a massive doorknocking blitz.

A change of government in November would mark the first time there has been a one term state Government in Victoria since 1955. This is no easy task to achieve and we need all members to get involved if we are to ensure this happens.

If this Government is allowed to return to office after the election the ramifications on our industry will be dramatic to say the least. Think of what four more years of this kind of hostility will mean for the fire services.

It is imperative that we have the participation of any available members for the following doorknocks:
