Bulletin No: 042 Volume: 20 Thursday 20 February 2014
To ALL UFU ESTA MEMBERS
ESTA AGREEMENT TO
GO TO A VOTE
Today, the Unions were informed that the in principle agreement reached between the Unions and ESTA on Saturday 8 February 2014 is now ready to proceed to a formal vote of employees.
The Unions are pleased that this long and hard fought EBA negotiation appears to be coming to its final stages.
As members may remember from the last vote, the final version of the agreement, along with a summary, will be provided to employees 7 days prior to the opening of the ballot. A ballot paper will then be sent to your home from the AEC for members to vote on the proposed enterprise agreement.
Following the vote on the agreement, assuming it is receives a successful ‘yes’ vote of employees, the agreement will then require certification by FWC before it comes into operation however pay increases will be backdated to 13 December 2013.
For further information regarding the in principle agreement and the process from here please contact either your local delegate or UFU Industrial Officer Rini Krouskos on 9419 8811.
