ESTA BARGAINING UPDATE: LATE NIGHT BARGAINING AT FWC MOVES NEGOTIATIONS FORWARD

On Wednesday night your bargaining team and ESTA had fruitful discussions before the Commission regarding your enterprise agreement.

Bargaining continued well into the evening and progress has been made on a number of outstanding issues including TIL and service delivery improvement assessments.

The unions are hopeful of reaching in-principle agreement with ESTA soon.

The unions have agreed to temporarily suspend the training ban in relation to the telephony training  as an act of good faith to progress negotiations further. The ban is supended from 18:00 on Friday 09 October 2015 to 06:00 on Friday 16 October 2015.

Further, following a request from ESTA the Unions have also suspended the notification of the training ban (ban 14) to the extent that it prevents training on the new CFA strike team procedures.

The parties will be back in the Fair Work Commission next Thursdsay 15 October 2015.

If you have further enquiries please contact your union delegate or official.

Members are once again congratulated on their solidarity in the campaign to date.
