To ALL UFU ESTA MEMBERS

ESTA OPERATIONAL AGREEMENT TO FINALLY GO TO A VOTE

Further to Bulletin #43, as members would be aware, the Unions some two week ago sought the re-listing of the bargaining dispute before FWC after a 4 month delay by Government  putting your new EBA out for a vote. The matter was listed for 4.30pm today before FWC.

The Unions are pleased to finally be able to advise members that this morning we received confirmation from Government that the Agreement has now progressed through the Government process and can proceed to a vote of employees.

The Unions have today written to ESTA regarding the voting process in order to ensure that voting proceeds as expeditiously as possible.

Further, the Unions have advised ESTA that we believe that ESTA should begin processing the payment of employees from now to avoid any further unwarranted delay in paying employees both the necessary back-payments and sign on bonus given the unnecessary delay that has already occurred.

The Unions and ESTA will finalise the voting process and further information will be provided to members as it becomes available.

If members have any queries in the meantime please contact either Stuart Miller or Rini Krouskos on 9419 8811.
