Bulletin No: 005 Volume: 20 Monday 13 January 2014
To ALL UFU ESTA MEMBERS
Members are advised that today ESTA contacted employees advising them that the vote for ESTA’s proposed Enterprise Agreement has been extended by 5 business days.
This extension requested by ESTA of the AEC was done following many members raising issues with not receiving ballot papers in time to allow them to vote and/or ballots not being sent or sent to incorrect addresses.
Voting will now close by 10am Tuesday 21 January.
You must ensure your ballot is returned to the AEC by this date if you want your vote to count.
The UFU reminds members that ESTA’s proposed Agreement has not been endorsed by the Unions and we do not believe it is in your best interests to vote ‘yes’ for ESTA’s proposed Agreement.
If ESTA’s proposed Agreement receives a majority ‘no’ vote negotiations will continue between the parties on your EBA.
If members have any queries please contact your local delegate or the UFU office on 9419 8811.
