TO ALL UFU MEMBERS
MEMBERS ASKED TO ATTEND SECOND DAY OF FISKVILLE INQUIRY HEARING ON MONDAY
The second day of the Fiskville inquiry will be on Monday the 25th of May and it is important that we have members there to demonstrate the widespread interest in seeing those responsible for knowingly exposing UFU members to deadly carcinogens and contaminated water are held to account.
The evidence presented on day one of the inquiry was explosive.
The following witnesses will be called for Mondays Hearing:
- The Environment Protection Authority
- Robert Joy (via audio link)
- Private individual
- Darryl Strudwick
- Kenneth Lee
- John Ferrier
- Neville Callow
- Tony Ford
The UFU will be providing a BBQ breakfast in the car park next to Parliament House, opposite the European Cafe from 8:30am.
The hearing will commence at 10:00am
at Parliament House, Spring Street, East Melbourne
Members are asked to RSVP for either a 10am-1pm shift or a 1pm-5pm shift.
Please RSVP via text to 0419 127 045 or firstname.lastname@example.org
The UFU campaigned for an independent and thorough inquiry and it is important we are there to bear witness to those who are appearing before the parliamentary joint committee.
If you are unable to attend on Monday we will still need members to attend the hearing when it reconvenes on Monday the 15th of June.
