In light of the recent Christmas/New Year period, and in the aftermath of protracted 2018 incidents such as the West Footscray Fire, the UFU respectfully reminds members of the following welfare and support services that are available. 

How to fill out a Workcover claim form

If you’ve suffered from an injury, illness or disease you think might be related to your work, then you may be entitled to claim WorkCover compensation.

Issues with brigade medical officer come to a head

We have informed the MFB that we will be instructing our members it is in their best interest to report to their family doctor or alternatively Epworth Hospital Casualty.

UFU delegates training conference – February 2019

A UFU Delegates Training Conference will be held on Monday 25 February and Tuesday 26 February 2019. It is imperative that UFU Delegates attend to receive the latest industrial information, engage in discussions on behalf of their constituents and successfully fulfill the role of Shop Steward, Deputy Shop Steward, Health & Safety Rep or Deputy Health & Safety Rep.

Who to contact during the Christmas period

The UFU Office will be closed from Monday 24 December 2018 and will reopen on Monday 7 January 2019.

Les Twentyman Christmas drive 2018 – deadline next Tuesday 18 December!
