To all MFB Members/Operational staff employees,

REMINDER: ATTENDANCE AT THE LAST TWO DAYS OF THE MFB TERMINATION CASE

Members are still needed to attend the last two days of the hearing before FWC of the MFB’s application to terminate the Operational Staff Agreement 2010 this Thursday and Friday.

These last two days will be dedicated to the legal submissions. The extent of the awareness and concern amongst members is evident in the volume of attendance at the previous 15 days of the hearing where 80-100 members packed 2 court rooms on every day so far of the hearing.

The hearing starts at 10am on both days at FWC, 11 Exhibition Street. Members are advised they need to contact their shop steward or the UFU Office to register attendance if they are attending either a morning (10am-1pm)  or an afternoon (1pm-5pm) shift either of the remaining days.

The UFU is also organising a BBQ from 8:45am outside the commission to provide breakfast for members attending the morning session of the hearing on both days.
