BULLETIN

Bulletin No:         155                                    Volume:  20                        Thursday July 10 2014

To all MFB Members / Operational staff employees,

REMINDER: BBQ TOMORROW

MORNING AT THE FAIR WORK COMMISSION

There will be a BBQ from 8:45am this Friday the 11th of July outside the Fair Work Commission to provide breakfast for members coming in for the 5th day of the Hearing.

The hearing starts at 10am and members are reminded that they need to contact the Union office to register their attendance when they are available for either a morning (10am-1pm)  or an afternoon (1pm-5) shift on any of the remaining days.

Members are advised that the 1pm start for the afternoon shifts are not set around the lunch break as the timing and length of the lunch break is at the Commissioner’s discretion and not a fixed time each day. The reason behind asking members to arrive at 1pm is so that those who were there in the morning can leave and we can ensure a consistent number of attendees.

The commissioner must take into account the views of the employees in whether or not to terminate the agreement so it is important we have a strong and consistent presence at the hearing.

Please contact Dan on 0419 127 045 or at org2@ufuvic.asn.au to register your attendance for the hearing. For a full list of hearing dates see below:
