EXTENSION OF BENEFITS UNDER PROTECT INCOME PROTECTION
Alcohol & Drug Awareness (ADA) Training Sessions for CFA Operational Members
As members are aware, as part of the many benefits to UFU operational members and their families under the PROTECT Income Protection scheme, UFU operational members and families also have access to support and services from Alcohol & Drug Awareness Australia (ADA).
One such service is the ADA Training Session that is delivered on station for on-duty members. The sessions were delivered to MFB operational members over approximately 6 months in 2019.
Information for CFA operational members and delegates:
- ADA has started contacting CFA integrated stations to organise ADA training sessions for each platoon
- These sessions are in accordance with the PROTECT Income Protection benefits and are endorsed by UFU
- If you receive a call at your station, please ensure that you assist ADA in organising the sessions. If you cannot assist, please refer the call to your UFU Delegate at your station and they will assist ADA.
For any questions in relation to these sessions, please call the UFU Office on 9419 8811.
