UFU LAUNCHING
ELECTION CAMPAIGN FIRE TRUCK
DRIVERS WANTED
The UFU will be launching “Florrie the Fire Truck” as its latest election campaign resource and we need drivers from tomorrow onwards.
“Florrie the Fire Truck” is a Mk III Scania with Automatic transmission. Drivers are needed for tomorrow and over the coming week to visit marginal seats and visit pre polling booths.
The route for tomorrow (Saturday) will be:
Bentleigh 8:30am- 9:30am
Mordialloc 9:30-10:30am
Carrum 10:30-11:30am
Frankston 11:30-12:30am
On Sunday the route will be about the CBD including Collins, Bourke & Swanston Streets.
“Florrie” will be stocked with an Esky full of drinks for members of the public and UFU Members on polling booths.
If you are available to drive the truck tomorrow, Sunday or sometime next week please text your available dates and times ASAP to Dan Hunt on 0419 127 045.
The Fire Truck has been named “Florrie” in recognition of St Florian who is the protector of the protectors as the Patron Saint of firefighters.
