MEMBERS MEETING REGARDING SUPERANNUATION ARRANGEMENTS & BARGAINING UPDATE
The UFU is holding a general membership meeting in relation to superannuation and to update members on the bargaining process. At the meeting, the UFU’s consultants will be presenting their findings in relation to the work commissioned by the UFU in October of last year.
The UFU previously scheduled two meetings regarding superannuation but one was postponed due to the small number of RSVP’s for the night meeting.
As indicated we have now rescheduled that meeting for Tuesday the 23rd of June.
Members will also be given a full report on the current state of bargaining for new enterprise agreements. Currently the UFU is in the process of negotiating the MFB Operational Staffing agreement, the CFA Operational Staffing agreement, The CFA MCS agreement, MFB ACFO agreement, ESTA agreement, Transfield NSW and Transfield Victoria agreements.
Meeting details are as follows:
9.30am and 7.30pm
Tuesday 23 June
(corner of Victoria and Lygon Streets, Melbourne)
Superannuation makes up a significant proportion of employees overall remuneration and is essential in enabling them to live comfortably in retirement.
Members are therefore strongly encouraged to attend this vital meeting.
Please RSVP your attendance or apologies to firstname.lastname@example.org
